In an effort to continue this journey I decided to take some me time before work in the morning. My good friend Mr. Yearn was kind enough to meet me early on a random Tuesday morning. There wasn’t anything interesting in Midtown but what I did learn was even more depressing. As I watched crowds of people rushing to work I noticed how unhappy many of them looked. Then it dawned on me that the majority of us are just slaves to this idea that money equals success. We’ve been trained like robots to go to work and make money(usually for your boss). The more you have and the more you show off the happier you will be. This is furthest from the truth. I smiled in my $20 moto jacket (thrift find) as the innocent bystanders walked passed me.
